Lacrosse combines the speed and power of hockey and football with the endurance, agility and strategy of
soccer and basketball. It rightfully has earned the name, “the fastest game on two feet.” If you excel at
other sports or if you have not found a sport that is ‘for you,’ lacrosse is an exciting alternative. It
is a sport that is sure to get you in shape, provide excitement, and take you where no other sport has.
Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing youth sports in the country and has come to Tabb, Virginia.
The Hampton Roads Youth Lacrosse Association (www.hrlax.com), a local chapter of US Lacrosse (www.uslacrosse.org),
is looking for players, ages 7 and up, for the spring 2008 season. Absolutely no experience is needed at
any level. Divisions are divided based on age, according to age of the player on January 1. The entire program
is designed around playing as a team, developing individual skills, and, most importantly, having fun!
Whether you are looking for another challenge or looking for some cross training for other sports such
as football or hockey, lacrosse could be the sport for you. Come out, grab a stick, scoop up a ball and
see why lacrosse is called ‘the fastest game on two feet.’
